Welcome at the Institute of Fluid Mechanics and Environmental Physics in Civil Engineering (ISU). We work on the mathematical and experimental modelling of flow and transport processes in porous and fractured media. We develop and apply novel methods to solve systems of equations. Practical research applications include fluxes in urban environments, in more-component systems, in electrolyzers, in unsaturated systems, and in groundwater of e.g. permafrost regions (Tibet).
